Old Highway 5k Run/Walk
The Old Highway 5k Run/Walk is a timed 5K event held on Old Highway in Tavernier, Florida. The course is described as flat with substantial shade. The start and finish are at Coral Shores High School. Fifty percent of event proceeds will go to the school.
Registration opens on 2026-06-01 and closes on 2026-06-03. The registration fee is $25. Race shirts and participant medals will be provided to the first 200 registrants.
Awards will be presented to the overall top three male and female finishers and to the overall masters male and female. Additional awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: under 9, 10 to 13, 14 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, 70 to 74, 75 to 79, and 80 and over.
After the race there will be snacks, refreshments, and music for participants and their companions. Race management may postpone, cancel, or alter the course for safety or due to events outside management's control. Entry is non-refundable, non-deferable, and non-transferable. Pets, skateboards, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. All times and locations are subject to change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
