Old Highway 5K Run/Walk
The Old Highway 5K Run/Walk is a timed road event taking place on Saturday October 3, 2026, on Old Highway in Tavernier, Florida. The course is described as flat with lots of shade. The race starts and finishes at Coral Shores High School. The high school is the benefiting partner and will receive 50% of the event proceeds.
Participants in the 5K can earn awards. Trophies or awards will be presented to the overall top three finishers for males and females, to overall masters for males and females, and to the top three male and female finishers across multiple age divisions from under 6 through 80 and over. Race shirts and participant medals are reserved for the first 200 participants to register. After the event there will be snacks, refreshments, and music for attendees.
Entry is non-refundable, non-deferable, and non-transferable. Race management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event or to alter the course and distances for safety in response to circumstances beyond management control. Pets, skateboards, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. All times and locations are subject to change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
