Old Ephraim 200
The Old Ephraim 200 is a point-to-point ultramarathon through the Bear River Mountain Range near Logan, Utah. The official route is 215 miles with about 40,000 feet of climbing. Runners encounter less than 1.5 miles of pavement; the remainder is remote single-track trail and ATV and Forest Service roads. Terrain includes dense pines and aspens, open meadows, and long stretches of quiet forested trail. The course passes areas associated with the local legend Old Ephraim and includes an aid station at his graveside monument.
The event is scheduled for August 24, 2026 in Logan, Utah. Entry requires a prior finish of at least one mountain 100+ mile race; a qualifying finish may be completed during 2026 if it is finished before race day. Organizers confirm qualifications by reviewing Ultrasignup results and allow alternative documentation if a finish is not listed there. The registration fee is $1,599 before fees and payment plans may be available. Refund and rollover rules vary by timing: if a waitlisted runner fills a vacated spot a 100% refund is available; if the race is not full entrants may choose a 50% refund or a 100% rollover to the following year if made in writing before May 1. After May 1 no refunds are offered but a 50% rollover is available. If canceled for reasons outside the race committee control entries roll over 100% to the next year.
