Old Ephraim 200
The Old Ephraim 200 is a point to point mountain ultramarathon near Logan, Utah, routed through the Bear River Mountain Range. The official route measures 215 miles with about 40,000 feet of climbing. Runners cover less than 1.5 miles of pavement; the remainder is remote single track trail and ATV or Forest Service roads.
Terrain includes dense stands of pines and aspens, open meadows, and long stretches of quiet forested trail. The course passes near historical locations associated with the local legend Old Ephraim and includes an aid station at his graveside monument.
Entry requires prior completion of at least one mountain 100+ mile race; a qualifying finish in 2026 is acceptable if completed before race day. Organizers will verify results on Ultrasignup and ask entrants to provide alternate proof if a qualifying finish does not appear there.
The registration fee for the inaugural year is $1,599 before processing fees. Payment plan options may be available. If the race is full and a waitlist runner fills a withdrawn spot, entrants can receive a 100% refund. If the race is not full, a withdrawer may receive a 50% refund or a 100% rollover to the following year if the decision is submitted in writing before May 1. After May 1 there are no refunds; a 50% rollover to the following year is available. If the race is canceled for reasons outside the committee's control, entries roll over 100% to the following year.
