Race features and logistics
The course begins at Charm City Run Columbia and runs around Lake Elkhorn, crossing several wooden bridges and offering water views and autumn tree cover. Amenities for the in-person event include a race-themed finisher medal, an Oktoberfest shirt, on-course aid station support, post-race snacks, and a complimentary drink from Black Flag Brewing Company for participants aged 21 and older. There is a course time limit of 1.5 hours. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers; top male and female masters (40 and over); and top three in standard age groups. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race at Charm City Run - Columbia and on race day at the same location. Starting corrals are used for the in-person race; placement is based on the estimated finish time entered at registration. The event lists Bridges to Housing Stability as its charitable beneficiary.
