Patapsco Valley 50K : Baltimore, MD
The Patapsco Valley 50K is an in-person and virtual trail event organized by Patapsco at Patapsco Valley State Park with race headquarters at CCBC Catonsville. The event includes the following distances:

- 25k Virtual
Runners receive a Brooks event shirt and an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item. Finishers awards differ by distance: 50k finishers receive a hand-thrown mug and 25k finishers receive a finishers medal. The course is described as a scenic, historic, well-marked trail route with five well-stocked aid stations staffed by volunteers, and post-race food and drink. In 2026 the course will be run clockwise.
The start and finish are at CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228; parking is suggested in Lot 6 and the fields near the tennis courts serve as the start/finish area. Patapsco Valley State Park retains authority over the event permit; extreme weather has led to past postponements or cancellations. The weather backup date is Sunday, October 25, 2026. Runners unable to attend the backup date or affected by cancellation are placed in the virtual category.
Virtual runners may complete their distance between October 24 and November 24, 2026; swag and finishers awards will be mailed at no additional cost. Registration fees listed range from $125.97 to $152.60 USD. Registration closes October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Refund requests submitted before September 24, 2026 receive the registration fee minus $30; no refunds are issued on or after September 24, 2026. Fees, taxes, and other charges are non-refundable.
