The Believe In Tomorrow Port to Fort 6K takes place on October 24, 2026 in Baltimore, MD, with the event village at The Liberty Lot in Locust Point, 1215 E Fort Ave. The course is a 6K run/walk that passes through historic Fort McHenry and offers views of Baltimore Harbor. The event is the 30th annual edition and is presented with sponsorship from Home Depot. Proceeds support programs for critically ill children run by the Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation.
Registration, awards and on-site features
Registration opens May 26, 2026. Entry categories include adult individual, children (ages 4 to 12), virtual runner, Home Depot employee, and United States military. Published entry prices vary by category; some categories show reduced pricing and included processing fees. Runners who raise $200 or refer five friends who register (using a provided referral code) are eligible for a full refund of their registration fee. The last day to be guaranteed a preferred race shirt size is October 3.
Medals are awarded to the top three overall finishers (men and women) and to the top three in age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The post-race program includes Halloween-themed activities such as breakfast provided by local vendors, snacks and water, a live DJ, trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, a costume contest with multiple prize categories, and a one-flower giveaway per runner from Bell Nursery.
