The 30th Annual Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation Port to Fort 6K is a run and walk event taking place in Baltimore, Maryland. The event features a single distance available to various participant groups:
- 3.76 Miles (6K) distance for adults, children (ages 4 to 12), military members, and corporate employees.
- 3.76 Miles (6K) virtual option for those participating remotely.
Event Features and Amenities
The event includes a variety of amenities and activities. Participants receive a t-shirt, with sizes guaranteed for those who register by early October. A post-race party follows the run, featuring breakfast provided by local vendors, snacks, water, and live music from a DJ.
As a Halloween-themed event, the day includes trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, and a costume contest with prizes for creative adults, children, and groups. Additionally, runners receive a flower courtesy of a local nursery.
Awards and Recognition
Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for the top three finishers in several age categories, including ten and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. A referral program is available where participants who reach specific fundraising or recruitment targets may receive a registration fee refund.
