Linganore Haunted Wine Run 5k
The Linganore Haunted Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Linganore Winecellars, 13601 Glissans Mill Rd, Mt. Airy, MD 21771. The event is a Halloween-themed, chip-timed 5k that is open to ages 1 to 99. Timing and scoring are provided by J3 Timing and results are posted online. The course travels through the vineyard and wooded areas of the property and is described as suitable for both walkers and runners.
Entry, race items and policies
Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass-shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors may participate but do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine. Packet pickup is available race day only. A virtual participation option is offered; virtual packets can be shipped for a $10 shipping and handling fee. Age-group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each age category; awards must be picked up on race day and are not shipped. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground, and dogs are not permitted on the course. The charity partner for the event is Nik’s Wish.
