Event overview
The Okie Half takes place on March 14, 2026 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The event includes two distances:

The race is organized by I:40 Race Service with support from the Muskogee Running Club and Muskogee Parks & Recreation. The venue for race activities is the Hatbox Events Center, located at 630 S 40th Street, Muskogee.
Course, awards and services
Both the half marathon and the 5k are USATF certified and described as flat courses. The half marathon starts and finishes inside the restored Hanger 1 at the Hatbox Events Center and passes local landmarks including the ROXY Theatre, the Merle Haggard statue, and the Depot District. The 5k mostly follows the loop trail around the Hatbox Sports Complex.
Awards and finish items include custom finisher medals for half marathon finishers, cast medals for 5k first-place age-group winners, wood medals for 2nd and 3rd in 5k age groups, mugs for half marathon age-group winners, and overall trophies for top three male and female finishers in each race. Post-race services for half marathon participants include a barbecue meal from Mother Tucker's BBQ and free 5 to 10 minute post-race massages.
Registration and logistics
Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled for Friday evening, March 13 (4:00 to 7:00 pm) at the Hatbox Events Center; race-day packets are available from 6:30 am. Registration prices vary by period, with regular prices listed as $32.50 for the 5k and $70 for the half marathon; earlier and later price tiers are published by the organizer. Jogger pants and guaranteed event shirts require registration by March 1 for guaranteed sizing. The half marathon has a time limit of 4 hours 15 minutes.
