Fort Gibson Turkey Trot 2026
The Fort Gibson Turkey Trot is an annual community running event held in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. The 2026 edition marks the third year of this event, which takes place on November 26. The race serves as a fundraiser to support the maintenance of the Jean-Pierre Chouteau Trail System (JCP), with proceeds directed to the River Rats, the organization responsible for trail upkeep.

Participants have the option to register for these distances with or without a commemorative event shirt. There is also a "Couch Turkey Trot Supporter" registration category for those who wish to contribute to the trail fundraising efforts without participating in the physical races.
The venue for the event is Clinkenbeard Park, located at 201 W Poplar St. The park is situated off E 50th St N, across the bridge from The Fort Historical Site.
