OhioGuidestone Promise Run
The biennial OhioGuidestone Promise Run takes place Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Wallace Lake Park in Berea, Ohio, within the Cleveland Metroparks. The event benefits the individuals OhioGuidestone serves and reflects the organization's focus on mental health, well being, and whole person care.
Distance options organized for participants include:
- 10k
- 5k
- 1 mile run/walk
Each registered participant will receive a run bag with a Promise Run t shirt and a complimentary smoothie. The event includes an awards presentation, family friendly activities, and concessions at the Wallace Lake Grille. Strollers and leashed pets are welcome, and attendees may participate alone or in groups.
Run packets, including bibs and run bags, will be available for pick up in Berea during the week before the event; detailed packet pickup information will be provided closer to the date. A virtual run/walk option is available for those who cannot attend in person; virtual participants may not receive a bib, and a run bag with a t shirt may be available.
Organizers note that using the Wallace Lake Park location in navigation is preferred over the 213 Prospect Road address to reach the Metroparks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
