OHIOGUIDESTONE Promise Run
The OHIOGUIDESTONE Promise Run takes place on September 26, 2026 at Wallace Lake in Berea, within the Cleveland Metroparks. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes family-friendly activities and food available from the Wallace Lake Grille.
Race options include:
- 10K - 6.2 miles
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile - 1 mile
Registered participants receive a run bag that includes a Promise Run t-shirt and a complimentary smoothie after the event. Packet pickup will be available in Berea the week before the event; run bags for day-of late registrations are subject to availability. An opt-out option for the event t-shirt is available for pre-registered participants and reduces the fee by $5.
Timing is electronic for the 10K and 5K using RFID chip timing; the 1 Mile is untimed. Awards are presented for the 10K and 5K and include top three male, female, and non-binary overall, masters in the 65-plus age group, and juniors for ages 12 and under.
The event includes employee-only entry categories and virtual entry options. Virtual participants may not receive a bib; run bag pickup at regional offices or shipping may be offered for an additional cost. Leashed dogs and strollers are permitted on course.
