Event Overview
Voices for Recovery is a running event held on Saturday, September 26, 2026. It supports recovery from substance use disorders and recognizes National Recovery Month, which aims to raise awareness of mental health and addiction recovery.
Events
The event includes two options:
- 5K run, which is chip-timed.
- 1 Mile Fun Walk, which is untimed.
Location
The event takes place at the Bur Oak Picnic Area in Elyria, Ohio.
Registration
Pre-registration is available for $25, and race day registration is $30. Mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Early packet pickup is offered at Psych and Psych Services in Elyria on Friday, September 25th from 3 to 6 PM.
Awards
For the 5K, awards are given to the top male and female overall, and the top three finishers in various age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and Over.
T-Shirts
T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before Saturday, September 12th. After that date, shirts are subject to availability.
