Voices for Recovery
Voices for Recovery is a community event in Elyria, Ohio, held at Bur Oak Pavilion (6150 Ford Rd) to support recovery from substance use disorders and to recognize National Recovery Month. It is organized for Lorain County residents and visitors.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
The 5K is chip-timed. The 1 Mile Fun Walk is untimed.
Registration opens July 1 and closes September 25. Advance registration fee is $25; race day registration fee is $30. Mailed entries must be received by September 23. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, September 25 at Psych and Psych Services, 750 South Abbe Rd, Elyria OH 44035. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register before September 12 and are available while supplies last after that date.
5K awards include top male and top female overall and top three finishers in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and Over. Dogs are not permitted at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
