Lorain County Relay for Life 5K/1Mile takes place at Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio. The event offers multiple running options and a program of on-site activities through the day.

The 5K course is described as fast and flat. Course maps are provided and will be measured; distances shown on maps are GPS estimates.
On-site activities include a classic car show, a kids play zone with bounce houses and inflatables, a kids car show and touch-a-truck area, food trucks, a silent auction, raffles, a survivor lunch, and a luminaria ceremony. These activities run alongside the running events.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society, with an event fundraising goal of $85,000. Participant items and awards include event t-shirts and medals for 5K and 1 Mile participants, medals for kids sprint participants, and awards for top finishers and age-group places in the 5K.
