O.D.B. DASH 5K Powered by The Megan Aitken Team
O.D.B. DASH is a community 5K event held in Middletown, DE at Volunteer Brewing Company on August 27, 2026. The event donates 100% of proceeds to Our Daily Bread, an organization that provides nutritious meals at no cost to low income families, children, the elderly, and others in need in the Middletown, Odessa and Townsend communities.
The course is described as a fast, flat residential neighborhood route that starts and finishes at Volunteer Brewing Company. Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag chip system. Awards include top overall male and female and masters by gun time, and age-group awards scored by chip time for categories from 13 and under through 80 and over; there are also awards for top walkers.
Registration options include the standard 5K run/walk, a competitive walking 5K which requires walking the entire race with no running or jogging allowed, and a children 5K for ages 12 and under. Sponsorship packages are available at multiple levels.
Event policies note that bibs are non-transferable, no dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, and registrations are non-refundable.
