Event overview
The Ocean State Rhode Races take place on October 25, 2026, in Narragansett, Rhode Island, with the start/finish at Narragansett Town Beach (77 Boston Neck Rd). The event includes the following race options:

The full marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon and Abbott World Marathon Majors qualifier. Chip timing is used for all races and both gun time and chip time are provided. Live athlete tracking is available through the RaceJoy platform.
Logistics and race services
Medals are awarded to full and half-marathon finishers; all participants receive a race shirt, with sizes guaranteed for orders placed before June 1. Aid stations are located approximately every 2 miles on the half and full marathon courses and provide water and an electrolyte drink; some stations offer gels and bananas. Port-a-johns will be available at the start and at aid stations. There is a gear-bag check at the start; bags must be labeled and participants are advised not to leave valuables. Roads are not closed to traffic; coned running lanes will be used. Dogs, strollers, and bicycles are not permitted on the course. The race has an official time limit of 6 hours and offers an early-starter option for marathoners who need extra time; early starters may be ineligible for age-group awards.
