Ocean State Rhode Races - Narragansett, RI
The 10th annual Ocean State Rhode Races takes place in Narragansett, Rhode Island on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The weekend features multiple race distances and on-site packet pick-up and an expo the day before the races.

The marathon course is USATF certified and designated as an Abbott World Marathon Major and Boston Marathon qualifier. Course terrain passes coastal views, river walks, farms, old rock walls and tree-lined back roads. The event begins and finishes at Narragansett Town Beach and includes a finish-line festival with music and a recover zone.
Race amenities include gender and race specific technical shirts, race-specific finisher medals for the marathon and half marathon, free race photos after the event, and live runner tracking through the RaceJoy mobile app (participants must carry a phone and activate tracking). Aid stations are placed along the courses with water, Nuun electrolyte drink, HoneyStinger energy gels at some stations, bananas, and portable toilets.
Course limits are enforced: the marathon course is secured for six hours and the half marathon for three and a half hours; walkers are welcome but aid stations close and roads reopen to traffic after the limits.
