Ocean Road 10k
The Ocean Road 10k is an annual road running event in Narragansett, held in early October. The course is a point to point route along the coast and is described as flat and scenic.
The course covers 6.2 miles (10k). It starts at Pt. Judith Lighthouse, follows Ocean Road along the shoreline, passes under the Narragansett Towers, and finishes at the Town Beach.
The event is presented by Fitzpatrick Team RE/MAX Results. Each year more than 2,000 runners and walkers take part, and the race typically sells out. Because the course is point to point, organizers request that participants use assigned shuttles or be dropped off at the start rather than parking at the finish.
