Ocean Gate 5K and 1 Mile - Christmas in July
The event in Ocean Gate, New Jersey, features a chip timed 5K and two 1 mile runs including a kids race for children 16 and under. The 5K is held on a certified, flat course through Ocean Gate. A finish line video will be published online and race results are available within seconds after finishing, showing time and pace for each participant.

- 1 Mile open run/walk
- 1 Mile Kids Run for children 16 and under
Awards are provided for the 5K top overall male and female and for the top two male and female in 10 year age groups. Separate awards are given for top finishers in the 1 mile and the 1 mile kids race. Finisher awards for the kids race will be handed out at the finish. All finishers receive a 2026 Race Finisher Ornament.
Registration opens February 24, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026. Published entry fees are $40 for the 5K, $30 for the 1 mile, and $25 for the 1 mile kids run. Race day registration for the 5K will be $45. Packet pick up is available on race morning at Adrian Hall. Race morning registration is available online only via a mobile device.
