Brookville Olympic Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike
The event takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Joseph A Citta Scout Reservation in Barnegat, New Jersey. It features multiple multisport events including Olympic and Sprint distances and several relay categories.
Registration is digital only; there are no paper applications and cash is not accepted. Athletes must pick up their own race packets and show photo ID. Annual USAT members must bring membership ID; single-event membership options are handled during registration. T-shirts are available with registration.
Swim waves are spaced three minutes apart and the sprint races start after the Olympic swim field. USAT wetsuit rules apply: wetsuits are required if water temperature is 60.8°F or lower and rules about wetsuit use and award eligibility apply at higher temperatures. There is a short trail run from the swim to the bike transition; athletes with sensitive feet may want footwear for that segment.
Distances for each official event are:
- Olympic Triathlon: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike, 10k run
- Olympic Duathlon: 5k run, 24.6 mile bike, 5k run
- Olympic Aquabike: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike, 5k run
- Sprint Aquabike: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike
Awards include top overall finishers, age group placings, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and relay awards. The event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and Club Challenge scoring.
