Brookville Olympic Triathlon, Duathlon, & Aquabike - Barnegat, NJ
The event is a multisport race day held at Joseph A Citta Scout Reservation in Barnegat, New Jersey on August 15, 2026. Organizers present multiple race formats including Olympic and Sprint distances, relays, duathlon, and aquabike options. Race registration is digital; main event registration opens December 22, 2025 and closes December 31, 2025. An Athlete Support Partner entry is available by invitation and has a separate registration period.
Distances for the primary race formats include:
- Olympic Triathlon: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike, 10k run
- Olympic Duathlon: 5k run, 24.6 mile bike, 5k run
- Olympic Aquabike: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike, 5k run
- Sprint Aquabike: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike
Packet pickup and race-day registration are electronic; athletes must pick up their own packets and show photo ID. USAT membership is required for multisport participants and annual members must present membership ID. There is a short trail run between the swim exit and transition area; athletes with sensitive feet may want protective footwear for that section. T-shirts are available with registration. Awards are given by overall, age group, Clydesdale/Athena, and relay categories. Event promoters may alter or cancel events and races proceed under local safety guidance.
