Event information
The Brookville Olympic Triathlon, Duathlon, & Aquabike; Sprint Triathlon & Aquabike will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Joseph A Citta Scout Reservation, 229 Brookville Rd, Barnegat, NJ 08005. The event is organized by Trident Multisport and is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and Club Challenge. Waves are 3 minutes apart and the sprint races start about 30 minutes after the Olympic waves. Water temperature will be posted the day before and on race day; USAT wetsuit rules apply based on measured water temperature. Registration is digital only. Packet pickup requires each athlete to pick up their own packet and to show photo ID; annual USAT members must show their membership ID.
Distances and awards
- Olympic Triathlon: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike, 10k run
- Olympic Duathlon: 5k run, 24.6 mile bike, 5k run
- Olympic Aquabike: 0.9 mile swim, 24.6 mile bike
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike, 5k run
- Sprint Aquabike: 0.45 mile swim, 12.2 mile bike
Awards are given for overall top finishers and age group placements, with separate Clydesdale and Athena divisions and relay team awards. Additional notes: post-race refreshments will be provided, split results will be posted online, and races are held rain or shine under local safety guidance.
