Event overview

The OC Trail Runners Group Run on Saturday, January 10, 2026, is a free, social, non-competitive, slower-paced group run at El Moro and Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in Newport Beach. An Aravaipa representative will lead the run. Participants are asked to have some trail running experience. Routes change for each meeting.

Course and logistics

This meeting’s route is approximately 7.5 miles with about 1,290 feet of vertical gain and includes a few short rocky sections. The group meets in front of the restrooms at Coastal Peak Park, 20403 East Coastal Peak, Newport Coast (cross streets: East Coastal Peak and Ridge Park Road). Complimentary snacks and a raffle drawing are planned after the run. Participants are advised to bring hydration and fuel. Parking may be difficult for late arrivals.
