Oakworth Haul Fell Race

The Oakworth Haul is a fell race held in Oakworth, West Yorkshire. This event takes place as part of the local Oakworth Gala, which features various stalls and entertainment for visitors. The race is organized by Keighley & Craven AC and starts from the Oakworth Gala Field on Victoria Road.

The course covers a distance of 9 km (5.6 miles) and includes an accumulated climb of 250 meters (820 feet). The terrain features a combination of steep climbs and technical descents, interspersed with faster running sections. Participants navigate the route under the supervision of marshals stationed throughout the course.

As a short summer race, there is no mandatory kit requirement for participants. While the main fell race is limited to individuals aged 18 and older, the gala committee organizes separate fun races for children on the day.
