The course passes along Broadford Lake, crosses the breast dam to Simon Pierce Glass blowing and returns. Surfaces include pavement, mowed grass trails, and gravel road, providing a mix of footing.
All event activities, including packet pick-up and race-day registration, take place outdoors or under an open pavilion. Participants should be prepared for the weather and note that parking is next to the start and finish area. Timing is manual rather than electronic; bib numbers are recorded by hand at the finish. Participants are asked to wear their bib visibly on the front of their outfit and to ensure the number has been recorded as they leave the finish chute.
Long-sleeve T-shirts are available while supplies last; organizers will try to mail shirts to pre-registered participants if the event is canceled.
