Canaan Valley Half Marathon 10K 5K
The event takes place April 25 and 26, 2026, at Canaan Valley State Park in Tucker County, West Virginia. It is a road race weekend held within the state park, using park roads and paved cart paths through the golf course.

The half marathon is run as two laps that cover the golf course front nine on the first lap and back nine on the second lap. Its elevation gain is approximately 820 feet. Water stops are placed at about 1.8, 3.5, 6.3, 7.5, 9.3, and 12 miles. The 10K has about 436 feet of elevation gain with water stops near 1.8, 3, and 5 miles. The 5K gains about 190 feet with water stops at 0.75 and 1.9 miles. All courses follow a stay left rule to allow vehicle access in the center.
A kids race returns on Saturday with a half mile course; participants receive a bib and finisher medal and parents may accompany children. Packet pickup is in the main ballrooms of the state park lodge with evening and morning sessions around the event dates; participants are asked to have a QR code ready for faster pickup.
