Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K
The 8th Annual Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K takes place April 25-26, 2026 at Canaan Valley Resort in Davis, Tucker County, West Virginia. The event offers each distance on both days and the organizers have reserved the resort for the weekend.

The weekend program includes the Conquer the Valley Challenge, which pairs any two distances over the two days, and a 2026 season pass that allows unlimited racing at the event. There are separate competitive and fun divisions for certain challenge entries. Packet pickup is held at the event venue the evening before each race and for a limited time on race mornings. The course will include improvements for 2026.
All participants receive a Sweet McClumsy hat and a finisher medal. Finishers aged over 21 receive a complementary beer and post race snacks. The course time limit is up to four hours, and half marathon runners must clear the golf course area within an additional time restriction near mile twelve.
