Course and what to expect
The course is a 7-mile loop that runs on varied terrain around Wisp Resort and Deep Creek Lake. The route includes shaded single-track, double-track and ski-trail stretches, climbing ridgelines and offering panoramic lake and mountain views. Each loop has about 802 ft of elevation gain. The trails are described as well marked, with signage and volunteers at key points. The route finishes back at the resort base, where a post-trek celebration offers food, cold drinks, music, and on-site amenities.
