Event details
The Oak Ridge 10 & 5 Milers take place on January 24, 2026 in Oak Ridge, TN at 100 Melton Lake Peninsula. The event includes the following distances:
- 10 Miler
- 5 Miler
- Oak Ridge 10-Miler Virtual
The road course is USATF certified (TN24002MS) and uses a new out-and-back route. The course is open to traffic and has a time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Headphones are discouraged. Starts and finishes are located at Calhoun's in Oak Ridge. Grab-and-go post-race snacks will be available. Restrooms will be inside Calhoun's and portable toilets will be on site.
Entry, awards, and policies
Registration is available with tiered pricing depending on date. There are no bib transfers or refunds. Shirt orders will be placed on January 8; after that date available sizes will be shown and a $5 deduction applies if no t-shirt is selected. Awards are given to the top three overall, age groups, and specialty categories, with specific awards for Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters by gender. The race is part of the 2026 Grand Prix team competition; Grand Prix points require KTC membership and at least three KTC volunteer shifts during the year. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
