NYU DPT 5K Run/Walk
The NYU DPT 5K Run/Walk is a community running event held at Pier 45, 165 Christopher St., New York, NY 10014. Registration for the next edition is not yet open.
Participants receive event amenities including swag bags, live online, text, and email results, and free finish line photos and video. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Results and same-day finish line images are provided through the event's online results system.
Bib pickup is available in person from event staff, with a self lookup area for those who do not know their bib number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, a registration confirmation on a phone or a printed copy is required for assignment. Virtual entries have bibs shipped; the shipping window ranges from one week prior to one week after the event.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers. The event benefits the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, a non-profit organization that funds physical therapy research through grants, scholarships, and fellowships.
