NYRR Staten Island Half
The NYRR Staten Island Half is a half marathon held on October 11, 2026 in Staten Island, with the start area near St George Ferry and Richmond Terrace. The course offers views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and serves as the grand finale of the 2026 NYRR Five-Borough Series.
This event is the sixth and final qualifier in the 2026 4 Out of 6 program and is also a 9+1 program qualifier. Every registered runner receives a long-sleeve New Balance shirt, and every finisher receives a medal. Team for Kids participants are eligible for guaranteed entry into the race, receive coaching and a Team for Kids singlet, and support NYRR youth and community programs.
Race day logistics include number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street. Organizers recommend using public transit; the Staten Island Ferry from the Whitehall Terminal in Manhattan is a commonly suggested option and parking is expected to be very limited. Bag check accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep; NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Live, unofficial results and runner tracking are available in the NYRR app and official results are posted afterward. Awards for the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions are presented on site. Entry fees are nonrefundable and events cancelled by authorities will not be rescheduled.
