NYRR Staten Island Half
The NYRR Staten Island Half is a half marathon held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, on Staten Island. The race course offers views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. It serves as the grand finale of the 2026 NYRR Five-Borough Series and is the sixth and final event in the 2026 4 Out of 6 program.
Each participant receives a long sleeve New Balance shirt and every finisher receives a medal. The event is a qualifier for NYRR programs including 9+1 and 4 Out of 6. Official awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions; age-group award claims are handled after the race.
Logistics noted by the organizer include race number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER (320 West 57th Street), with bibs that include timing tags, and a bag check that accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep with the tag affixed. Organizers recommend use of public transit; parking will be extremely limited and the Staten Island Ferry from the Whitehall Terminal is suggested for travel to Staten Island.
