NYRR Staten Island Half
The NYRR Staten Island Half is a Half Marathon held in Staten Island on October 11, 2026. The event is based near the St George Ferry and Richmond Terrace area and features views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge.
This race serves as the grand finale of the 2026 NYRR Five Borough Series and is the sixth and final qualifying event in the 2026 4 Out of 6 program, which offers guaranteed entry to the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half for eligible participants. Team for Kids registration is at capacity for this edition. Rising NYRR will host a free Stage 1 kids event for ages 2 to 11; registration is required.
Race-day provisions include a long sleeve New Balance shirt for participants and a finisher medal for every finisher. On-course amenities listed are water, Gatorade, and a Maurten Gel Depot at Mile 7 offering specific Maurten gels; runners are advised to carry their own fuel as supplies at the depot are limited. The NYRR Pace Team will provide pacers wearing blue and white singlets with orange and blue back flags; pacers aim for target finish times and there is no fee to run with them.
Prize awards are provided for the top finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions and for age groups. The NYRR Member Division lists prize money for first through fifth place and a Top Staten Island Finisher award; prize eligibility requires an active NYRR membership by July 11, 2026 and meeting the stated performance standards. Logistics notes include limited parking, a recommendation to use the Staten Island Ferry from Manhattan, bib pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street, and a clear bag policy for bag check.
