About the race
NYRR Manhattan 10K is a scored 10-kilometer road race in Central Park, Manhattan, held on January 31, 2027. It serves as the opening race of the 2027 NYRR Five-Borough Series and consists of a full loop around Central Park that passes Harlem Hill, the Three Sisters, and Cat Hill. The event is open to athletes age 12 and up and is a qualifier for NYRR programs, including 4 out of 6 and 9+1 credit for eligible participants. Finishers receive finisher medals.
The race offers prize money for top finishers in the NYRR Member Division, with awards for the top five overall places and a top Manhattan finisher prize; additional time bonuses are available under specified standards. Awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in men, women, and nonbinary divisions; age-group award claim procedures are available after the event. Registration status is listed as sold out, and a Member-Only Standby List exists to invite active NYRR members to register on a first-come, first-served basis if entries open. Race numbers may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street; bib pickup closes 10 minutes after the race start.
Runner tracking is available in the NYRR app and official results are posted after the event. Reasonable accommodations and guide or support runner requests are provided per NYRR accessibility procedures.
