NYRR Cross Country Series #3
NYRR Cross Country Series #3 is a scored cross country race held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on November 15, 2026. The event distance is 5K and it is part of the NYRR cross country series that includes multiple staged races in the fall.
The course runs on park trails and varied terrain within Van Cortlandt Park. Live unofficial results and runner tracking are available during the event via the NYRR app and official results are posted after the race. Awards are presented on site to the top three finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions. Runners who place in the top three of their age group may claim an award after the event via the age group awards claim process.
Entry fees for this race range from $0.00 to $21.15. NYRR operates a Member Only Standby List that invites active members to register on a first come first served basis if entries become available after registration closes. NYRR Race Free provides fee assistance programs and in 2026 offered program spots and complimentary race entries; the 2026 application period is closed.
Race number pickup is handled through the NYRR RUNCenter in Manhattan and proxy pickup is allowed with the account QR code and matching photo identification. Bag check accepts clear bags no larger than 17 inches by 20 inches by 7 inches. Events will not be rescheduled if canceled by local authorities and entry fees are non refundable and non transferable.
