NYRR Cross Country Series #3 : Van Cortlandt Park
NYRR Cross Country Series #3 is a scored cross country race held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on November 15, 2026. The event features a 5K distance over park trails and natural terrain and is part of a multi-race NYRR cross country series.
Entry fees for this event range from $0.00 to $21.15. Registration options include a Member-Only Standby List for active NYRR members when entries become available after registration closes. NYRR offers a Race Free program that provides complimentary race entries and fee assistance; the 2026 program included a limited number of spots and complimentary entries.
Kids ages 2 to 18 may participate in Rising NYRR activities on race day with required free registration. Race numbers and timing tags may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street in New York City; proxy pickup is permitted with the appropriate QR code and matching photo identification.
Event operations include bag check using clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep. Live unofficial results and runner tracking are available via the NYRR mobile app, with official results posted afterward. Awards are given to the top three overall in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions, and age-group awards may be claimed after the race.
