The Nicholas Pedone 5K Run/Walk is an annual community running event held at Glen Cove High School in Glen Cove, New York. The event includes the main 5K course plus a separate fun run for younger participants.

The 5K course runs through streets of Glen Cove, beginning near the front of Glen Cove High School and finishing by the football field and track. The course is USATF certified and the event is sanctioned. Baby strollers and baby joggers are permitted on course but must start from the back of the field.
Event amenities include raffle tickets for pre-registered participants, post-race refreshments, snacks, and entertainment. Awards include prize money funded by a sponsor for top overall finishers, trophies for top overall and wheelchair finishers, and medals for the top three in male and female age groups across multiple divisions.
The event is part of the USATF-Long Island Grand Prix series. One hundred percent of proceeds are designated for the Nicholas Pedone Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting children affected by pediatric cancer and raising awareness for childhood cancer.
