Nicholas Pedone 5K Run/Walk
The Nicholas Pedone 5K Run/Walk is a community road race held on August 30, 2026 at Glen Cove High School in Glen Cove, NY. This is the 13th annual edition and the event benefits the Nicholas Pedone Foundation, a nonprofit focused on children fighting pediatric cancer. The event states that 100% of proceeds will go to the foundation.
The course is 3.1 miles (5K), follows streets around Glen Cove, and is a USATF certified and sanctioned course. Baby strollers and baby joggers are permitted on the course but must line up in the back of the field. The event offers a separate fun run for younger participants; the fun run is untimed and is intended for ages 10 and under.
