NYRR BK 5K is a scored 5K road race held in Prospect Park, Brooklyn on February 20, 2027. The event is open to participants ages 8 and up and counts as a 9+1 program qualifier for 9+1 Passholders; participants in qualifying status receive 9+1 credit for the race.

Registration for the event is listed as sold out. Active NYRR members have access to a Member-Only Standby List; members on that list may be invited to register on a first-come, first-served basis if entries become available.

Race operations note that race numbers include timing tags and may be picked up at the NYRR RunCenter featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street. Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race; late pickups will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check; recommended maximum dimensions are 17 inches wide by 20 inches high by 7 inches deep. NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items left at bag check.

Accessibility accommodations are available; guide and support runner requests for athletes with disabilities must be placed at registration at least two weeks before the event. Live unofficial runner tracking will be available in the NYRR app during the event. Official results will be posted after the race. Awards will be presented on site to the top three finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions, with age-group awards claimable after the event.
