NYCRUNS Summer Loving 10K
The NYCRUNS Summer Loving 10K is scheduled for June 6, 2026, with the date listed as tentative. The race takes place on Governors Island and uses a USATF certified, two-loop course that offers views of New York Harbor. Ferry transportation from Manhattan is included for runners and guests.
A Festival Area near the ferry terminal serves as the location for bib and shirt pickup, bag check, portable bathrooms, and post-race refreshments. Bibs are available only on race morning using a unique QR code; mailing of bibs is available for NYCRUNS members at no cost and for non-members for an additional fee if requested 20 days or more before the event and sent to a U.S. address. Shirts are pick up only on race day and sizes are not guaranteed.
Event amenities include on course and finish hydration with water and electrolyte fluids, post-race fruit and bagels, and race photos delivered by MarathonFoto. Bag check requires one single clear bag (18 x 24) and organizers reserve the right to search contents. Awards are presented to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall by gun time, plus age group awards by net time across standard age divisions from 9 and under through 70 and over.
Handcycle and wheelchair athletes are not advised to register due to the course layout. Event policies include no strollers or dogs, standard no-refund no-transfer rules, and time limits for course support and official results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
