Cougars Distance Carnival
The Cougars Distance Carnival takes place on April 2, 2026 at Alumni Stadium in Union, New Jersey. The meet includes track races and a field event held at the stadium.

- 1500 m
- 800 m
- 400 m
- Shot Put
Entry categories and access are listed for Open, Club, Collegiate and High School athletes; age designations noted include Adult, Open, College and Junior college. Events are generally run mixed gender unless otherwise specified. Heats are organized fast to slow and the meet follows a rolling time schedule; an approximate schedule will be available at the clerking table after registration closes.
Equipment and venue policies are specified. Only 1/4 inch pyramid spikes are allowed, in 5 spike or 6 spike model shoes; 3 spike and 4 spike models are not permitted and all spikes must be checked prior to competition. Outside food and beverage is not allowed inside the arena; the stadium concession stand provides food and drink. Spectators are charged a $5 admission fee.
Entry fees are listed as $20 online per individual event, $15 for Kean Alumni or Cougar Running Club members, and $30 for on site registration. Pre-registered athletes pick up wristbands and bibs at the registration table near the 100m finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
