NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon is a USATF certified race held in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. The half marathon course consists of just under four full loops of the park with a final approach up Center Drive, passing Center Drive three times before a final left turn to the finish. The Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and can be accessed via Center Drive or the walking paths off Well House Drive; the race also finishes at the Nethermead on Center Drive.
Race operations include pace-based start corrals assigned by letter (AA through F) and corral locations on Well House Drive. Bibs are available for pickup in the Festival Area on race day; members may opt to have bibs mailed and non-members can add mailing for an additional fee when available, subject to registration and U.S. address rules.
On-course amenities include water and electrolyte fluids, portable bathrooms, bag check with a required single clear bag (NYCRUNS provides an 18 x 24 clear bag if needed), and postrace refreshments such as bagels and fruit. Participants receive a tech shirt (race day pickup only) and a finisher's medal. One complimentary race photo is provided with additional photos available for purchase.
Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary overall finishers by gun time, with age group awards by net chip time. The event has a standard no-refunds, no-transfers policy, time limits, and rules restricting strollers and dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
