NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon, Prospect Park (Brooklyn, NY)
The event is a USATF-certified half marathon held in Prospect Park on October 17, 2026. The course consists of just under four full loops of the park with a final sprint up Center Drive; runners pass Center Drive three times before a final left turn to the finish.
A Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and is the site for race-day bib pickup, gear check, shirt distribution, and restrooms. Start corrals are pace based and assigned by letter (AA-F); corrals are located on Well House Drive and assignments come from the runner profile pace.
On-course and finish amenities include water and electrolyte fluids, post-race bagels and fresh fruit, portable bathrooms, bag check with a single clear bag requirement, and a finisher medal. Event photographers will be positioned on course and at the finish; a single photo download is available for free with purchase options for additional photos.
Bibs are available for pick up in the Festival Area on race day with a unique QR code; NYCRUNS members may receive mailed bibs and non-members can opt for mailed bibs for an additional fee when registering at least 20 days in advance to U.S. addresses. Pricing is tiered with member discounts; members receive a 10% discount and other membership benefits.
Results will be posted after the race and awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers by gun time, plus age-group awards across specified age brackets. Due to the number of turns, handcycle and wheelchair athletes are not advised to enter.
