Event overview

The NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY. The event distance is a half marathon and the course is USATF certified. Runners complete just under four full loops of Prospect Park, pass Center Drive three times, then make a final left turn to the finish on Center Drive. The Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and the race finishes back at the Nethermead on Center Drive.

Logistics and amenities

Start corrals are pace-based and assigned by letter (AA-F); corral assignment appears on the race bib and corrals are located on Well House Drive. Bibs are available for pickup on race day in the Festival Area with a unique QR code; NYCRUNS members may receive mailed bibs if registered at least 20 days before the event to a U.S. address, and non-members can add mailed bibs for an extra fee. Bag check requires a single clear bag (the organizer will provide a clear bag if needed, size 18" x 24") and staff may search bag contents. Portable bathrooms will be available. Water and electrolyte fluids are provided on course, with electrolyte fluids and cans of smartwater at the finish. Post-race refreshments include bagels with schmear and fresh fruit. Shirt distribution is on race day only and finisher medals are awarded at the finish. One complimentary race photo is provided, with options to purchase additional photos.

Results, awards and policies

Full results will be posted after the race and finish times are emailed. Overall awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers (gun time). Age-group awards (net/chip time) are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each of these groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. The standard no-refunds, no-transfers policy applies; members may withdraw for race credit. Strollers and dogs are not allowed.
