NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon
The NYCRUNS Falling Leaves Half Marathon is held on October 17, 2026 at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The course is USATF certified and consists of just under four loops of the park with a final sprint up Center Drive; runners pass Center Drive three times before the final left turn to the finish. The Festival Area is located in the Nethermead and serves as the location for bib and shirt pickup, bag check, and race questions. The finish returns runners to the Festival Area.
Start corrals are pace based and assigned by letter from AA to F; assignments appear on the race bib and corrals are located on Well House Drive. Bag check requires a single clear bag (18" x 24") and organizers reserve the right to search bags. Portable bathrooms are available in corrals, along the course, and after the finish. Hydration stations provide water and Gatorade on course and at the finish. Post race refreshments include a bottle of water, Gatorade, an apple, and a bagel with schmear. Every finisher receives a race tech shirt distributed on race morning and a finisher medal at the finish. Race photos include a free photo marked Free Download and optional paid packages.
Members receive free bib mailing under specific conditions; bibs can be mailed only if registered 20 days or more before the event and to a U.S. address. Entry fees vary by date; member prices range from $81 to $112.50 and non-member prices range from $90 to $125. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary runners by gun time and to top three in standard age groups by chip time. The event partners with Understood for Learning Disabilities Awareness Month. Policies include no refunds or transfers, no strollers or dogs, and time limits enforced on course.
