Event Overview
Run Run Rudolph is a family-oriented athletic event held in Peoria, Illinois. Taking place in December, the race follows the Riverfront Trail with the start and finish lines located at the former Hooters Restaurant near RC Outfitters. The event serves as a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, and participants are encouraged to donate new toys to earn raffle entries for various gift cards.
Participants can choose from two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
Registration and Swag
The first 600 registered participants are guaranteed to receive a race hoodie and a pair of reindeer antlers. All entrants receive a candy cane, as well as post-race food, beverages, and hot cocoa. Packet pickup is held at RC Outfitters on the day before the event and during a limited window on race morning.
Awards and Contests
The event features a holiday dress-up contest with gift card prizes for the best solo outfit, best group ensemble, and best holiday-inspired attire. Competitive awards are based on gun time and are provided for the top male and female finishers overall.
Additional age group awards are available for the top three male and female finishers in several categories, ranging from ages 10 and under to 70 and over. These age group prizes consist of cookie awards which must be collected at the results table on the day of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
