About the race
NSSA's Jack's Run 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held on October 3, 2026 at Eisenhower Park, Field 2, in East Meadow, New York. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and features a 5K distance for runners and walkers. Parking is available in Parking Lot #1 near the Northwell Health Ice Center.
Registration includes in-person and virtual options with varying fees; listed prices include processing fees. Registering three weeks before race day allows the participant's name to appear on the bib. Virtual entries follow an event window from 10/3 to 10/11; virtual participants can upload times and up to five photos and will receive mailed bibs the Monday prior to the event.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall, top three males and females in age groups 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+, and to the top wheelchair finisher. The course is certified (certificate ID NY17013JG). On-site bib pickup is available; registering in advance enables personalized bibs. Last-minute registrants may receive bib numbers by text.
