Sri Chinmoy Thanksgiving Day 5K, 10K & Kids Race
This event is held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Meadowlark Circle, New York, NY 11375. It features a USATF certified scenic, flat 5K loop that passes the Unisphere, the Fountain of the Planets, the Queens Zoo, the New York State Pavilion and the Queens Museum of Art. The 5K is one loop; the 10K is two loops. USATF certification numbers NY16032JG and NY16033JG apply.

Event services include free parking, bag check, aid stations approximately every mile, free race photos, medals for all finishers and a post race pancake breakfast. The giveaway item is a pair of Sri Chinmoy Races running gloves. Packet shipping is available for US addresses for an additional fee of $7.45 and packets will ship on the date specified by the organizer. Packet pickup is available at the race site on race day. Time limits are one hour for the 5K and one and a half hours for the 10K.
Age rules specify that runners must be 13 or older for the 5K and 15 or older for the 10K. A separate kids race is for children under 13 and may be run in two heats; each child receives a bib, a finisher medal and a small gift. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the organizers control it may be converted to a virtual event with giveaways and medals mailed to participants.
