The Sri Chinmoy Thanksgiving Day 5K, 10K & Kids Race takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Meadowlark Circle), New York, NY 11375. The event is organized by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in cooperation with the NYC Parks Department. A portion of proceeds supports Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The 5K is a USATF certified loop that starts at the north end of Meadow Lake and passes the Unisphere, Fountain of the Planets, Queens Zoo, New York State Pavilion and Queens Museum of Art. The 10K is two laps of the same 5K loop. USATF certification numbers are NY16032JG and NY16033JG.
Race logistics
Entry fees are the same for 5K and 10K with tiered pricing: $29 through Oct. 30, $33 through Nov. 17, and $37 through Nov. 25. Packet shipping is available for a fee; onsite packet pickup is offered on race day. Amenities include free parking, bag check, aid stations every mile, custom race hats, medals for all finishers, and a post-race pancake breakfast. Time limits are 1 hour for the 5K and 1 hour 30 minutes for the 10K.
Eligibility, awards and policies
Age minimums: 13+ for the 5K, 15+ for the 10K; children under 13 may enter the Kids Race. Awards for men and women in multiple age divisions, and medals for all finishers. If the event must be canceled for reasons beyond the organizers' control, it may convert to a virtual event with mailed giveaways and trophies as described.
