About the race
The Queens St. Patrick's 5K and Half Marathon is a community road event held in Flushing Meadows Corona Park with in-person and virtual participation options. Distances offered include a free kiddie fun run, a 5K, and a Half Marathon run on a certified course.
The half marathon uses four loops of the 5K course and requires runners to cross the finish line each loop for accurate split and finish times. Live time tracking with predicted finish times and split photos is available for the half marathon. Course maps are USATF certified. On-site amenities include informal bag check, nearby bathrooms and porto-johns, finish-line hydration, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Finishers receive a Queens St. Patrick's finisher medal and event tee. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute cutoff; course support ends based on that pace.
Age group recognition is given online for overall and age divisions from 14 and under through 90 plus. Bibs can be mailed for a fee if registered early; in-person bib pickup is handled by event staff shortly before the race. A virtual option allows participants to log a time and upload photos within a week and receive mailed items.
Proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
