NSRF The Dad Bod 5K & 10K
The event is a running event on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk in Far Rockaway, NY (7215 Beach Front Rd). Two course formats are offered: an out-and-back loop for the 5K and two loops for the 10K. 10K participants must cross the finish-line timing mats on each loop for accurate split and finish times.
Registration is not yet open; the organizer provides a notification option when registration becomes available. A virtual entry option exists and allows participants to log a time within the event week and submit up to five photos. Virtual race items begin shipping on the first day of the event; mailed bibs are sent beginning the Monday before the event and may take 3–5 days after late signups.
On-course amenities include hydration at the turnaround and the finish line, public water fountains along the course, porta-johns near the finish, and public restrooms along the boardwalk. An informal bag check area will be available in the staging area. Post-finish refreshments are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Bib options include in-person pickup at the finish-line area on race day or mailing for a $10 fee if registered at least ten days before the event. Bib-wearing guidance specifies placement on the mid-torso above the belly button, visible and secured with four pins or equivalent.
Race proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, with donations and fundraising directed to NSRF. Live online results, same-day finish line photos, and free video are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
