NSRF Dad Bod 5K & 10K
This event offers in-person and virtual running options at Rockaway Beach Playground, 7215 Beach Front Rd, Far Rockaway, NY. There are two racing distances and a course laid out on the boardwalk.
- 5K out and back loop
- 10K two loops; run through finish mats on each loop for accurate splits
Facilities include public restrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, porta-johns near the finish line, and water stations at the turn-around and finish. Public water fountains are available along the course. An informal bag check area will be provided in the staging area. Post-race refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Registration is available for in-person and virtual entries. Bib mailing is offered for a fee and requires registration at least ten days in advance to receive the bib prior to the event. Virtual participants may submit a time and up to five photos during the event window and will receive event items by mail beginning on the start day; shipping may take several days for late sign-ups.
Top overall finishers are recognized across male female and X categories. Age group recognition is provided for multiple age brackets. A portion of event proceeds benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable programs and athlete development.
