NSRF The Dad Bod 5K & 10K
This event offers timed road race options held on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk in Far Rockaway, New York. The course layout uses an out and back loop for the 5K and two loops for the 10K. Hydration is available at the turn-around and at the finish line, and public water fountains are accessible along the course. Porta-johns are located near the finish and public restrooms are available along the boardwalk.
Amenities include an informal bag check area in the staging area, finish-line refreshments provided by event partners, and same-day finish line photos and live online results. A virtual participation option is available; virtual entrants have from the first day of the event and a full week to log a time and may submit up to five photos. Race items for virtual participants begin shipping the first day of the event.
Bib distribution is available in person at the finish line on Beach 72nd Street, or by mail for an additional fee if registered at least ten days in advance. Race bibs should be worn on the mid-torso for accurate read rates and secured with four pins or equivalent fasteners.
A portion of event proceeds supports the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The event takes place on Munsee Lenape and Canarsie lands at Rockaway Beach, NY.
