The course uses the boardwalk in an out-and-back format: one loop equals 5K and two loops equal 10K. 10K participants are asked to run through the timing mats on each loop so split and finish times are recorded accurately. Awards recognize top overall finishers and age-group leaders across standard age brackets. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation; donations and fundraising directly support the foundation.
