NSRF The Dad Bod 5K and 10K
This event stages 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer runs along the Rockaway Beach boardwalk in Far Rockaway, New York. The course is an out-and-back loop: one loop equals the 5K, and two loops equal the 10K. 10K participants must pass through the timing mats at the finish line on each loop for accurate splits and finish times.
Amenities listed include an informal bag check area in the staging zone, portable toilets near the finish, and public restrooms along the boardwalk. Hydration is provided at the turn-around and at the finish line, and public water fountains are available on the course. Post-race refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Entry options include an in-person race day pickup at the finish line and a bib-mailing option available for an additional fee if registration is completed at least ten days before the event. A virtual participation option allows entrants to log a time and submit up to five photos within a one-week window beginning on the event start day; mailed items begin shipping on the first day of the event.
Age group recognition is awarded for top overall finishers and for first-place finishers in standard age categories from 14 and under through 90 plus. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting athletic and charitable activities.
