The Awesome 80's Half Marathon & 5K NSRF 2027
The event is scheduled for early July 2027 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, with staging at the Grecian Center, the Peristyle. It features a USATF certified 5K loop in Prospect Park and a half marathon run as multiple loops of that course.
Distances offered
- 5K : 1 certified loop
- Half marathon : 4 loops, cutoff time 2:45 hours; runners must start their final lap by 2:05 hours
Amenities include a cassette tee and a finisher medal, hydration at the finish line, and food and drinks provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Informal bag check will be available in the staging area and bathrooms are located within a few minutes walk of the start and finish.
Bibs can be mailed for an additional fee if registration occurs at least 10 days before the event; mailed bibs are sent the Monday prior to the start and virtual participants also receive mailed items. Finish line photos and same-day online results are offered, and a virtual entry option allows participants to submit a time and up to five photos during the event week.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable programs.
