The Chris Conway Memorial Run and 1 Mile Walk
The event on 12/06/2026 takes place at Ridgefield Park High School, 1 Ozzie Nelson Drive, Ridgefield Park, NJ. It honors the life and legacy of Chris Conway and benefits All Schools Special Needs, Inc., a Ridgefield Park nonprofit that provides equipment, educational resources, technology, and field trip support for the special needs community.
Two main event options are offered:
- 3.1 miles : 5K Run; disposable chip timed; registration fee $35.
- 1 mile : Walk; untimed; registration fee $25.
The course is USATF certified and sanctioned, with a rolling layout and a downhill finish to the track. Timing and scoring are provided by CompuScore. A long sleeve Dri-Fit tech shirt is provided to pre-registrants while supplies last; a shirt is given to all participants. Awards include medals for top overall finishers, age-group medals, a medal for the top Ridgefield Park finisher, gift certificates for top overall finishers, and a team trophy for the largest team present.
Post-race amenities include an indoor/outdoor barbecue, refreshments, music by a live DJ, and giveaways. Parking is available at Ridgefield Park High School, at the bottom of Morningside Lane, and on nearby side streets excluding Overpeck Ave. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
