Moonlight Mile NSRF
Moonlight Mile NSRF is a community one mile race and walk held at Merrick Lands / Newbridge Road Park in Bellmore. The course follows gentle curves around the park and is described as a flat 1 Mile route suitable for runners and walkers.
Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby restrooms within a few minutes walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and food and beverage offerings provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Event apparel such as a moon tee is offered. Live online, email, and text results are provided, along with same day finish line video and free photos.
There is a virtual participation option. Virtual participants can record performances from a track, treadmill, mapped route, or other measured course, and have from the event start day through a full week to submit times and up to five photos. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee; mailed bibs require advance registration to guarantee delivery and are shipped beginning the Monday prior to the event with a typical 3 to 5 day delivery window for late sign ups. In-person bib pickup is handled by event staff.
Age group recognition is awarded for top finishers overall and in standard age brackets, and a portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events and athlete development.
