Moonlight Mile NSRF 2027
The Moonlight Mile is a night time community race listed for 2027 that features a flat 1 Mile course around Merrick Lands / Newbridge Road Park in Bellmore. The route follows gentle curves and is available as a run or walk. A previous edition took place on August 7, 2026.
Amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, hydration provided at the finish line, and event refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Event merchandise includes a Moon tee.
The event supports both in-person and virtual participation. Virtual entrants may log a time within the event window and upload up to five photos. Bib mailing is offered for an additional fee when requested in advance; virtual bibs begin mailing the week before the event with typical delivery of a few days for later registrants. In-person bib pickup is available from event staff on site shortly before the event.
Results are published live online and via email or text, with free video and same-day finish line photos. Age group recognition is given to top finishers overall and in standard age categories from 14 and under through 90 plus. A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports athletic and charitable events.
