NSRF Moonlight Mile
The NSRF Moonlight Mile is an evening community running event held at Newbridge Road Park in Bellmore, NY. The event features a 1 Mile course that follows gentle curves through Merrick Lands / Newbridge Road Park. The course is described as flat and suitable for either running or walking.
There are both in-person and virtual participation options. Virtual participants have a period of days to log their time and may upload up to five photos. Entrants can choose to have their bib mailed for an additional fee if registered in advance. Registration includes choices for a race tee and optional purchase protection.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a few minutes’ walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Results and same-day finish line photos are available online.
Age group recognition is awarded to the top overall and to top finishers in these categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+. A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth and special needs events and athlete development.
