Moonlight Mile NSRF
The event is a one-mile community race and walk held at Merrick Lands / Newbridge Road Park in Bellmore. It is described as a fun, flat 1 Mile course that follows gentle curves around the park and is run under the moon.
Registration is not yet open; registration will open ahead of the date listed on the event page. There are both in-person and virtual participation options. Virtual participants may log their time beginning on the event start day and have a full week to submit results; virtual bibs are mailed beginning the Monday prior to the event.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a few minutes' walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. A race tee is offered. Race results are provided live online with same-day finish-line photos and free video.
Bib distribution options include in-person pickup starting one hour before the event or mailing for a $10 fee if registered at least ten days in advance. The organizer provides guidance on correct bib placement to ensure accurate read-rates.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletic and charitable events and helps develop athletes.
