May the 4th Be With You 5K is a themed 5K road event at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY, scheduled for May 4. The event includes a short free kids dash in addition to the main 5K.

The course at Merrick Lands / Cedar Creek Park is set up as one loop to the 1K and five loops to complete the 5K. Participants are instructed to run through the finish line mats on each loop for accurate split and finish times and for photo syncing.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a short walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. A virtual participation option allows competitors to log a time and up to five photos from the first day of the event through the following week; virtual items begin shipping at the event start.
Bib options include in-person pickup from event staff or mailing before the race for a $10 fee if registration is completed at least ten days in advance. Runners are asked to wear bibs on the mid-torso and secure them visibly with four pins or alternative fasteners.
Age group online recognition is awarded for overall top finishers and for multiple age categories. One hundred percent of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports special needs and youth running events and athlete development.
