May the 4th Be With You 5K NSRF 2027
This event features a 5K road loop course at Merrick Lands / Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, New York, with a separate free Kids Dash. The 5K consists of repeated loops: one loop to the 1K marker and five loops to complete the 5K. Participants are asked to cross the timing mats on each loop for accurate split and finish times and for photo syncing.

On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, toilets within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, and hydration at the finish line. Race refreshments are provided by local vendors. A commemorative event tee is offered.
A virtual option is available; virtual entrants have the event day plus one week to submit a time and up to five photos. Event items for virtual participants begin shipping on the first day of the event. Bib mailing is available for an extra fee if requested in advance; virtual bibs are mailed when race gear ships.
Age group recognition is awarded online for top finishers overall and for top finishers in age groups from 14 and under through 90 plus. Parking is available at the park. One hundred percent of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Special Needs and youth running programs and athlete development.
