Event overview
It's Our Only Earth Day 5K takes place on April 18, 2026 at Eisenhower Park, Field #2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, New York. The course uses tree-lined bike paths in the Merrick Lands area of Eisenhower Park and is a USATF certified 5K. An event t-shirt is available.

Race format and amenities
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Virtual participants have one week from the event start to log a time and may upload up to five photos. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee if registered at least 10 days in advance. Amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Registration, awards, and beneficiary
Registration options include in-person and virtual entries; fees and add-on options vary and registration fees are non-refundable. Age-group recognition is offered for the top male, female, and X entries overall and by the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+. Donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization supporting youth, special needs events, and athlete development.
