It's Our Only Earth Day 5K - NSRF 2027
It's Our Only Earth Day 5K is a USATF-certified 5K held at Eisenhower Park, Merrick Lands, in East Meadow, NY. The event uses Field #2 and Parking Lot 2 as the race venue and staging area.
The event highlights awareness for preserving the environment and supports the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. One hundred percent of donations benefit NSRF, which provides free services for Special Needs and Youth running events and supports athlete development.
On-site amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. An event T-shirt is available. Results are published live online with same-day finish line photos and free video.
A virtual participation option is available. Virtual participants have from the first day of the event and a full week to log a time and submit up to five photos. Race gear and bibs for virtual entries are mailed when available. For in-person participants a mail option for bibs is offered for a fee if registration meets the stated advance deadline; in-person pickup is handled by event staff on race day. Bib placement guidelines and basic care instructions are provided to ensure accurate timing.
