It's Our Only Earth Day 5K (NSRF 2027)
Registration for this event is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date. The event is presented as a community 5K at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY, with a free Kiddie Dash and a virtual participation option.
The course is a USATF-certified 5K routed through the Merrick Lands / Eisenhower Park area. Distances offered include:

- Free Kiddie Dash
Amenities listed for the event include an informal bag check area, nearby restroom facilities within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, hydration provided at the finish, and refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Event T shirts are available.
Virtual participants can compete remotely; entries may log a time and up to five photos during the event window that begins on the event start day and continues for one week. Virtual race items begin shipping on the first day of the event.
Bibs may be picked up in person from event staff or mailed for a $10 fee if registration occurs at least ten days before the event. Organizers advise wearing the bib on the mid-torso, visible and secured at the four corners for accurate reads. If a mailed bib does not arrive in time, participants should confirm shipment details with the organizer.
Age-group recognition is awarded online, with top overall finishers and top placements in standard age categories from 14 and under up to 90+. One hundred percent of donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports special needs and youth running events and athlete development.
