NSRF It's Our Only Earth Day 5K
The event takes place on April 18, 2026 at Eisenhower Park Field 2, Parking Lot 2 in East Meadow, New York. The course is a USATF certified 5K routed through tree lined bike paths in the Merrick Lands area of Eisenhower Park.
Event formats include:
- In person 5K run/walk
- Virtual 5K with a one week window to log results
- Free kiddie dash
Race amenities include an event T shirt option, an informal bag check area, restrooms within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, and hydration at the finish line. Refreshments are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee and requires registration at least ten days before the event.
Registration options carry processing and service fees and race fees are non refundable. Purchase protection is offered for an additional fee to cover certain unforeseen circumstances. Age group recognition is provided for top overall finishers and for age categories ranging from 14 and under up to 90 and over.
Donations are directed to the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth and special needs running events and athlete development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
