NSRF Queens Turkey Trot 5K : Alley Pond Park, November 26, 2026
The Never Stop Running Foundation Queens Turkey Trot is a community 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at Alley Pond Park in Oakland Gardens, NY. The event base is the Alley Pond Picnic Area for staging and parking.
The course is a three‑loop 5K on park trails; participants are asked to pass through the finish‑line timing mats on each loop for accurate split and finish times. A free Kiddie Dash is offered for children. A virtual 5K option is available with a full week to log results and up to five photos.
Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby bathrooms, hydration at the finish line, and post‑race refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Bib mailing is offered for an additional fee when requested in advance; virtual registrants may receive mailed bibs as gear ships.
Registration terms note that fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Purchase Protection can be added for an additional small fee to cover certain unforeseen circumstances. Age group recognition is awarded online for top finishers overall and across standard age brackets with male, female, and X categories.
