The Never Stop Running Foundation Hot to Turkey Trot is a run/walk held at Alley Pond Park in Oakland Gardens, NY (Alley Pond Picnic Area). The event offers in-person and virtual participation. A free Kiddie Dash is included. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The course uses loops: the 2-mile event is two loops and the 4-mile event is four loops; participants must cross the finish line mats on each loop for accurate splits and finish times. Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby restrooms, finish-line hydration, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants may receive a themed T-shirt and can have bibs mailed for an additional fee if registered in time. Registration options include in-person and virtual entries; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Virtual participants have a window to record and submit times and may upload up to five photos. Online age-group recognition is listed for top finishers overall and in multiple age categories including 14 & under through 90+. Parking is indicated at the Alley Pond Picnic Area.
