NSRF Great Easter Basket 5K & 10K
This event is held in April 2026 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY. It offers both in-person and virtual participation and is presented as an annual spring run that takes place rain or shine.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The 5K course is USATF certified and follows a single loop that passes landmarks such as the Unisphere and the Fountain of the Planets. The 10K is two loops of the same course; 10K participants must cross the finish line at the end of each loop for accurate timing and photos. Start and finish are located near the Queens Theater.
On-site amenities include a bunny tee and a finisher medal, finish-line hydration, bathrooms within a short walk, and an informal bag check area. High quality refreshments are provided by event partners. Pace teams are available: 5K pacers from about 20 to 30 minutes and 10K pacers from about 40 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes.
Virtual participants have a one-week window from the event start to log times and may receive race items by mail. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee if arranged in advance.
