Great Easter Basket 5K & 10K NSRF
This event is a spring running and walking event held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Participants can choose between a 5K or a 10K course. The 5K is a USATF certified course that loops once; the 10K is two loops and requires runners to cross the finish line at the end of each loop for correct timing. The route passes the Unisphere twice and runs around the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish near the Queens Theater.

Amenities include an informal bag check area, nearby bathrooms and porto-johns, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Finishers receive medals and event apparel is available. Pacers are offered with target finish ranges for both distances.
There is an in-person bib pickup option at event staff near the Queens Theater and a mailed bib option for a fee if registered at least 10 days in advance. A virtual participation option allows logging a time and up to five photos during the event window; virtual entrants receive mailed race items.
Parking is available near the Queens Museum and Meridian Road with a short walk to the Queens Theater. Live online, email and text results are provided, along with free video and same-day finish line photos. Donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
