Event details
The Never Stop Running Foundation Great Easter Basket event takes place in April 2026 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and includes a free kiddie run. Registration options include in-person and virtual entries, and an optional bib mailing for a fee if registered at least 10 days in advance. Proceeds and donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Course and competition
The 5K course is USATF certified and runs one loop of the park. The 10K uses two loops of the same course; 10K runners must pass through the finish line at the end of each loop for accurate timing. The start and finish area is near the Queens Theater and the course passes the Unisphere and the Fountain of the Planets. Age-group recognition is given to top finishers overall and by age groups, with categories from 14 & under through 90+.
Logistics and amenities
Parking is listed at the Queens Museum, Meridian Road. Bathrooms and porta-johns are available near the finish and along the course. Hydration is provided at the finish line. Refreshments are supplied by event partners. Pacers are available on course (5K pacers from about 20 to 30 minutes; 10K pacers from about 40 minutes to 1:05). Virtual participants have a one-week window to log results and may receive race items by mail. All registration fees are non-refundable.
