The Great Easter Basket 5K & 10K NSRF
This event is a community road run held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. It offers two distances and a certified 5K course that passes the Unisphere and the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish near the Queens Theater. The 10K is run as two loops, and 10K participants must run through the finish mats at the end of each loop for accurate timing.
Amenities include participant shirts and finisher medals, refreshments provided by local brands, informal bag check in the staging area, and restrooms within a few minutes walk plus porto johns near the finish. Live online, email, and text results are provided together with same day finish line photos and free video.
Pacing support is available for both distances with listed pace groups. There is a virtual participation option that allows competitors to submit a time and up to five photos during the event week; shipped items begin on the event start day. Bib pickup can be done in person near the Queens Theater or mailed for a fee if requested in advance.
