Event overview
The Never Stop Running Foundation Great Easter Basket 5K & 10K takes place on April 5, 2026, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Refreshments at the finish are provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation; 100% of donations support that 501(c)(3) organization.

Course and race operations
The 5K is a USATF certified course that makes one loop of the park and passes the Unisphere and the Fountain of the Planets. The 10K consists of two loops; 10K runners must cross the finish line at the end of each loop for accurate timing. Bathrooms are a few minutes' walk from the start and finish; porto-johns are located near the finish line and the NYC Parks building. An informal bag check area will be available in the staging area. Pace groups are provided: 5K pacers range from 20 to 30 minutes; 10K pacers range from 40 minutes to 1:05.
Registration and logistics
Registration is available with in-person and virtual options and variable fees depending on date and options. Bib mailing is offered for an additional fee if requested in advance.
