NSRF Central Park Comic Run 5K & 10K
The event takes place on August 2, 2026 in Central Park, New York, at the Naumburg Bandshell (307 The Mall, New York, NY 10019). It offers in-person and virtual participation options and provides race items for finishers.

Participants receive a finisher medal and a shirt. There is an informal bag check area in the staging zone, bathrooms within a few minutes walk from the start and finish area, and hydration provided at the finish. Refreshments are provided by event sponsors All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
The 5K course is USATF certified. The common finish line is located across from Bethesda Fountain on Terrace Drive. Directions note entry to the park via East 72nd Street and 5th Avenue, with a short walk west to the Naumburg Bandshell for packet pickup and event staging.
Bibs can be mailed for a fee if requested in advance; mailed bibs require registration a specified number of days before the event. Virtual participants may log times and upload photos within the event window and receive mailed items that begin shipping on the first day of the event.
Recognition is given to top overall finishers by gender designation and to top finishers in multiple age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
