NSRF Central Park Comic Run 5K & 10K
This event is a themed running event in Central Park at the Naumburg Bandshell, 307 The Mall, New York, NY 10019, held on August 2, 2026. Participants may run or walk on either a 5K or a 10K course; a USATF certified 5K course is used.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Virtual entrants have from the start date through the following week to log times and may submit up to five photos. Bib mailing is available for an additional fee and requires registration at least ten days before the event.
Race amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms a short walk from the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and on-site refreshments provided by event sponsors. Finishers receive a finisher medal and an event tee.
Recognition is noted for overall top finishers and for age group top finishers across multiple brackets. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
