Abominable 5K & 10K NSRF
The event stages timed 5K and 10K road races at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens with start and finish near the north side of the Queens Theater. The 5K course is USATF certified and the 10K consists of two laps of the same certified 5K loop. Runners pass the Unisphere twice and run around the Fountain of the Planets.

- 5K - USATF certified course, one loop
- 10K - two loops of the 5K course
Event services include an informal bag check area, portable toilets near the finish, and a nearby NYC Parks building bathroom just after mile 2. Hydration is provided at the finish line and refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants receive an Abominable tee. Live online, email, and text results are available along with same-day finish line photos and free video.
A virtual participation option allows competitors to log time within a full week window, upload up to five photos, and receive mailed race gear; mailed bibs are available for an additional fee if requested at least ten days before the event. Top finishers receive online age group recognition across multiple age categories. Parking is listed at the Queens Museum building on Meridian Road with a walk to Queens Theater.
