About the race
The Nottingham Running Festival takes place on 22 November 2026 at Nottingham Racecourse, Colwick Country Park, Nottingham NG2 4BE. The event offers multiple distances on a looped course that runs inside the racecourse and into Colwick Park.
Distances
- Half Marathon: mini lap plus four laps, elevation gain 20 m
- 10K: two laps on the 5km loop
- 5K: one lap on the 5km loop
- Junior race: distance on a separate junior route
The course uses flat tarmac paths within the racecourse and gravel paths in Colwick Park, with lakeside sections and wide open trails. Laps vary by distance as above, and minimum ages are 17 for the half marathon, 15 for the 10K and 11 for the 5K.
Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, post race goodies and a bag drop. Water is provided approximately every 5 km and at the finish; the 5K does not pass a water station. Toilets are in the racecourse grandstand and are accessible near the end of each lap. A secure marquee is provided for baggage. Limited free parking is available at the racecourse and additional car parks and street parking are within a short walk. An optional event t shirt is available, produced in partnership with RT Kit and featuring the event logo on the chest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
