MoRun Derby

Event Details
The Derby MoRun takes place in Markeaton Park in Derby. The run supports the Movember charity, which focuses on men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.
Distances
Participants can choose from four chip-timed race distances:
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun
- 5 km MoRun
- 10 km MoRun
- Half Marathon (21.1 km) MoRun
The course is described as a mix of path and trail running, is undulating, and is dog-friendly. It is also noted as suitable for buggy and wheelchair users. The 5 km is one lap, the 10 km is two laps, and the half marathon has an initial 1.1 km loop followed by four full laps.
Participant Information
Every registered runner receives a finisher's medal and a headband. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line. The event also features a fancy dress competition with prizes for the best costume and for the fastest male (MoBro) and female (MoSista) runners.
There is a bag storage area, though space is limited. Registration opens at 8:00 AM and closes 10 minutes before each race starts. Participants must display their race number (which contains the timing chip) on their outer garment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
