Event details
MoRunning will hold a community running event at Markeaton Park, Markeaton Lane, Derby (postcode DE22 4AA). The event includes chip-timed races and supports the charity Movember, which raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Entries close on 15 November 2025. The organiser offers event merchandise such as unisex t-shirts and running vests for 2025.

Distances offered:
- 1.5k Mini MoRun (chip timed)
- 5k MoRun
- 10k MoRun
- Half Marathon (initial 1.1k loop then four full laps)
The course is a mix of path and trail running, undulating, dog friendly, and described as suitable for buggy running and wheelchairs. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps. Full race chip timing is used and finishers receive medals and a finisher headband. Additional bonus medals and spot prizes are planned for categories such as best dressed and fastest moustache. The finish area will provide drinks and snacks.
Practical information includes on-site toilets, bag storage next to registration (limited space, under gazebos and manned), and normal parking charges at the main car park and the Mundy Play Centre car park.
