Derby 10 Mile
The 10th edition of the 10 mile Derby race takes place on 15 November 2026 at Derby Arena. The route is described as flat and fast and is organised under ARC competition rules (ARC Event Permit 26/0645). Entrants must be aged 16 or over on race day.
Race numbers must be worn on the front and pinned to the running top. Runners are required to write their name, address, emergency contact details and any medical conditions on the back of the number; if a medical condition is recorded the front should be marked with a red X. Race numbers are either posted out to entrants or available for collection at the event. Running with a number other than the one issued may lead to disqualification.
A timing chip is attached to the race number. Results, prizes and course records are awarded by gun time while individual chip times are also recorded and published after the race. Photography and official results are published following the event.
There are toilets inside Derby Arena and public toilets near the Elvaston Castle car park after the six mile point on the course. Two water stations are provided on course and finishers receive a bottle of water, a technical finishers t shirt and a finishers medal. Pacers from Northern Pacing Volunteers will cover six target times. Parking is on a first come, first served basis; Pride Park and Park and Ride is recommended and cyclists may lock bikes outside the Arena subject to availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
