Derby 10 Mile: 15 November 2026
The Derby 10 Mile is the tenth edition of the road race held in Derby on 15 November 2026. The event starts and finishes at Derby Arena and uses a flat, fast route that offers potential for a personal best. The distance is 10 Mile and the race is held under ARC Rules for Competition - ARC Event Permit 26/0645.
Chip timing is used with the timing chip attached to the race number; results, prizes and course records are awarded by gun time while individual chip times are also published. Running numbers must be worn and pinned to the front of the running top. Runners must write their name, address, emergency contact details and any medical conditions on the back of their race number and mark the front with a red X if medical conditions are recorded. Race numbers are non-refundable and non-deferrable. Anyone running with a number not issued to them may be disqualified.
No one under the age of 16 years on race day is permitted to participate. There are two water stations on course and a bottled drink for finishers; cups are provided to reduce plastic waste and carrying personal hydration is allowed. Pacers are provided across several target times. Finishers receive a technical event t-shirt and a medal. Toilets are available inside Derby Arena and public toilets are located near the Elvaston Castle car park around the 6 mile point. Event photographs and official results are published after the race.
