Northwest Regional Police Department K9 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The event is hosted by the Northwest Regional Police Department at The Star Barn and Stone Gables Estates, 1 Hollinger Lane, Elizabethtown, PA, on October 31, 2026. It offers two course options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 5K is a professionally measured course that runs through the Stone Gables Estate property and includes both paved and off-road sections. The 1 mile fun run/walk is on a paved course and is open to all ages.
Entry fees are $30 for either distance for registrations received by October 17, 2026, and $35 thereafter including race day. Registration and number pickup take place at the Stone Gables Estate Barn. Online registration is available and a nominal service fee applies.
Amenities listed for the event include indoor toilet facilities, ample parking, a time clock at the finish with instant results, and a post race snack. The event is held rain or shine; there are no refunds or mailed awards. Results are posted on Pretzel City Sports in one to two days. A cornhole tournament and food options are scheduled for the afternoon following the event.
Awards are given to overall male and female winners and top male and female finishers in standard age groups; the fun run does not receive awards. Top three finishers in each age group will be entered into a raffle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
