Vineyard at Hershey Haunted Wine Run 5k
This event is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at The Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey in Middletown, PA on October 17, 2026. Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine at the finish.
The course is a cross country style route mostly on grass with some areas of uneven footing. The race uses a two lap layout that starts and finishes at the winery. Packet pickup is race day only.
Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each decade age category; categories run 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group or wave to be eligible for age group awards, and age group awards are available for pickup on the day of the event.
Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but not a wine glass or wine. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Walking is permitted. Dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA restrictions for the produce and vegetable farm.
The local charity partner is Loving Care Cat Rescue, an all volunteer rescue that provides medical care, seeks permanent homes, and reports having saved 3,341 local cats and kittens. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
